You can even send a codec IP address via SMS or email to an iPhone and include a URL that will automatically open the Report-IT Live application and connect to the studio – it doesn’t get any simpler than that!

How Do I Manage Local Recordings?

Report-IT offers so much more than just live reporting. Management of all your locally stored recordings is very simple. You can rename reports, trim recordings as sound bites and create user friendly playlists that make it easy to collate reports by stories, categories or record dates for playback.

You can even program Report-IT to display your station logo when you are reporting to highlight your station’s logo in media scrums and press conferences.

How do I get Report-It now?

If you have iTunes installed on your computer click here to launch iTunes and go download Report-IT Live from the iTunes App Store.

If you don’t have iTunes installed on your PC you can visit the App Store on your iPhone. Touch the App Store icon on your iPhone to open the App Store and type “Tieline” into the search bar where you will find Report-IT Live ready to download.

You download Report-IT Lite to trial Report-IT. Upgrade to Report-IT Live and Report-IT Live Pro8 to get additional features like unlimited live connections, unlimited local recordings, address book access, editing and access to Broadcast WAV Format (BWF) capability for sending reports via FTP to the studio.

What do I need to connect Report-It Live to the studio

We will email you with free test IP addresses when you register your Report-IT App for “first time use”, so you can connect immediately and test the app live to a Tieline codec in our offices.

To broadcast live from an iPhone you need a Tieline codec in the studio such as a Tieline Bridge-IT, or a Commander G3 Field codec, or a Commander G3 Studio codec.
